Excel secures datacentre support contract with global financial institution

Excel has secured a multi-year agreement with a leading global financial institution to provide 24×7 support across its UK datacentre estate.

Excel secured the agreement by demonstrating its exceptional service delivery capabilities within the datacentre environment, along with its reputation for focusing on cost reduction and service improvement.

Excel will now focus on the transition of service from a five-day-a-week to a full 24 x 7 support contract and work closely with the client to improve, as necessary, the operational services within the datacentres to fully reap the benefits of the new service.

The agreement covers all data centre Business as Usual (BAU) support, incident management, provisioning, DC maintenance, data destruction and management reporting.

The appointment further underlines Excel’s position as a leading provider of IT infrastructure and support services within the datacentre arena.
